I've always had a fascination with doing things differently. So, in college when I had the opportunity to work as a Research Assistant examining the effectiveness of a local government grant funded jail-reentry project, I became infatuated with the idea of funding being used as a tool to not only help transform people's lives, but entire systems.

After a few years of working in the direct service sector, I decided to combine my love of research, story-telling, and desire to forge a different path forward and pivot into the Grant Writing realm.  For nearly two years, I worked with a  Spokane based non-profit helping to secure over $5 Million dollars in general operating, program support, and capital grants. Building upon this impact, I formed Transformational Grant Consulting to assist additional organizations in securing the funding needed to achieve their mission and create community change. I am passionate about serving organizations who provide criminal justice, education, housing, health care, social services, and youth enrichment programming.

When I'm not working you can find me practicing my Roller Derby skills, reading a good Fantasy or Sci-Fi book, or adventuring with my Husband.
